Dr. Samir Patel is a young and dynamic neurologist with vast experience in treating disorders of brain, spine, nerve and muscles. He is owner and founder of Satva Neuro Clinic, Naroda. He is Consultant Neurophysician at KD hospital, Ahmedabad. He had worked as Consultant Neurophysician at Apollo hospitals, Ahmedabad from June 2017 to April 2019.
He has completed his DNB Neurology from prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi and his MD ( Medicine) & MBBS from Pramukh Swami Medical College, Karamsad. He also holds speciality certificate in Neurology awarded by Federation of Royal College of Physicians, UK and Association of British Neurologists.He has also cleared the European Board of Neurology Examination which is an additional sign of excellence in the field of Neurology and has been conferred with "Fellow of European Board of Neurology" (FEBN).
Dr Samir Patel was awarded "AAN International Scholarship Award" by the American Academy of Neurology in 2020. He was awarded Bursary for 24th WCN 2019 by World Congress of Neurology.He also got the “Young Investigator Award” at World Stroke Congress 2016. He was awarded “Dr A D Sehgal Best Neurology Resident Award “in 2015. He has more than 20 publications in National and International journals and has presented scientific papers & posters at various conferences.
He is an expert in diagnosis and management of stroke (ischemic &haemorrhagic), epilepsy / seizure, parkinsonism and movement disorders, migraine and other headaches, vertigo, Alzhiemer’s disease and other dementia, nerve and muscle related disorder, neuro-infections, neurocritical care and spine and disc related problems.
